Pain and symptom management

Helping you to manage your pain is about more than medication. Our hospice teams work closely with you and your family to develop a care plan specific to your needs.

Emotional support

The emotions you feel during this time can be overwhelming. But you don't have to do this alone. We will be there to help you make sense of your feelings and offer professional grief counseling for you and your loved ones. We will be there with you, every step of the way .

Spiritual counseling

Grief can sometimes make us question our beliefs, but it can also be a time of reflection. Our highly experienced staff can provide care for the spiritual needs brought on by a life-limiting illness. We can also help you find solace in your faith, whatever your beliefs may be.

Our Facilities

Palliative Care

Specialized medical care for cancer patients, they will receive the best medial care for their symptoms, providing emotional and spiritual support.

Auditorium

With a large space designed to accommodate a large audience specially to conduct meetings and saminars.

Doctor Quarters

Residential Facilities for Consultants and specialist doctors to provide short to long term accommodation for a quality living.

Spiritual Center

Designed as the place of worship, ritual prostration, and mind relaxation.

Canteen

Where supplies such as food, drinks, meals and snacks are provided to the patients and bystanders who reside here.

Male Ward

This is an exclusive male ward specially designed for male patients at early stages of cancer with total patient care, when the patients move towards advanced stages of cancer they get transferred to individual palliative care rooms for managing their critical conditions.

Female Ward (Saliha Villa)

This is an exclusive Female ward specially designed for Female patients at early stages of cancer with total patient care, when the patients move towards advanced stages of cancer they get transferred to individual palliative care rooms for managing their critical conditions.

Ambulance

Patients are daily transported to Batticaloa Teaching Hospital Cancer Unit for Chemotherapy, Radiation and other treatments using the ambulance service provided by our facility.

Linen Room

We provide industrial type laundry services for the inmates, to ensure neat and tidy clothing for all to ensure clean and healthy environment at all times.

Self Cooking Kitchen

For patients who wish to make their own dishes to satisfy their cravings once in a while, a separate kitchen fully equipped with all utensils is provided along with the required ingredients.

Charity Shop

Offer high-quality items for sale at reasonable prices. All money raised through the sale of items will support us to provide best service to the patients.

Parking Area

Parking facilities are provided for doctors, visitors and guests.

Staff Quarters

Skeleton staff need to be at the Hospice 24/7. They are accommodated at the staff quarters to facilitate their daily routine.

Laundry

Our Laundry Service operates 7 days a week, so patients essential and personal items are picked up, washed and returned to them very quickly.

Funeral Arrangements

In the unfortunate event of death of a patient, and on the request of the relatives of the deceased, funeral arrangement is done to bury the deceased within 24 hours of obtaining official clearance from authorities.

Nurses Quarters

Furnished residential facilities are provided for the nurses and health attendants to facilitate their daily routine.
