FREE ACCOMMODATION FACILITIES

Patients are admitted to wards which are in best of condition. Males are to their wards and females to their wards are housed separately. Patients who need physical help are given separate ward rooms. A personal attendant is allowed to stay there with the patient

FREE FOOD SERVICE

Free meals are given to the patients suiting their needs, with comfortable furniture facilities to consume their foods.

FREE MEDICAL FACILITY

The patients are given proper medical treatment regularly and medical advice are also given by specialists. As the patients are emotionally and psychologically affected due to their illness, they are offered good counselling too. And well trained nurses nurse them with proper care and attention.

FREE TRANSPORT SERVICE

Transport facilities are provided to take the patients to the Cancer unit of Batticaloa Teaching Hospital for Radiotherapy, Chemotherapy, Injections, and other treatments by the Van of the Hospice.

EMERGENCY TREATMENT UNIT

This facility is also available at the Hospice. When the condition of the patient becomes rather critical, he or she is admitted here for treatment. Doctors rush in here for the treatment of patient.

COUNCILING UNIT

Typically Cancer patients are psychologically depressed and worried. They are offered frequent counselling, depending on their condition.

ENTERTAINMENT UNIT

Cancer patients need Entertainment to keep them balanced in their ailing condition .The environment of the Hospice is scenic .Patients can take walking and play various soft games and plays.

MORTUARY

If any death occurs, the dead body is kept in the mortuary and then released to their families for funeral.

CHARITY SHOP & AGRICULTURE FARM

Charity shop the farm give little income to the Hospice. Fresh vegetables are fruits are regularly sold here.

PROGRAMS & HOME CARE

The Hospice conducts awareness programmes to the people at frequent intervals. We educate people on how to prevent cancer at an early stage in various ways.

TRAINING CENTRE

Hospice expands its in numerous ways. Nurses of government hospitals and university students are also sent for training here.
